Welcome to HON 315 Writing for the Real World!
Course Description: Our modern world provides so many ways to take in information: digital articles, blogs, podcasts and video, to name a few. Yet all of these forms of publication have one thing in common: writing. This course will explore the production of various modes of publication, from the idea and drafting stages to the finished product. Students will have flexibility on the topics they explore and will work to publish at least one article on the web, a series of blog posts, and a podcast or video. Students will showcase and share their work at the end of the semester as part of a course website.
